Ever wonder what happens to the elderly parents of society when they have no loved ones to care for them?

The Penuel Foundation is a private, non-profit organization that provides a safe and permanent home to the forgotten elderly.Through the home located in the Thrissur District in Kerala, India, we can meet these precious individuals' needs: food, clothing, safety, emotional support, and more.

FOUNDERS

Mr. Babu Cherian and Mrs. Lovely B Cherian cheerfully and earnestly invested their savings toward creating the Penuel Foundation. It breaks their hearts to see the elderly parents of society forgotten, homeless, and starving on the streets of India.

MISSION

As etched into our logo,our Mission follows the insightful instruction of Colossians 3:23: “Work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord.” In each interaction – big and small – we care for the elderly with the utmost care and dignity as a way to serve the Lord.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

WE OPEN OUR DOORS TO THE ELDERLY:

* Neglected or rejected by their children or relatives.

* Wandering the streets or homeless.

* Isolated and alone.

* Lacking medical care.

* Referred by the police, social workers,
and political representatives.

BRIEF DETAILS OF FACILITIES

The beautiful Penuel Foundation home was designed in harmony with the surrounding ecological environment of Pariyaram Panchayat in the Thrissur District. State-of-the-art facilities and services are available free of charge to our residents, which include: 24-hour medical facilities with in-house nurses, monthly visits from doctors, a spacious dining hall, library, television, and more. The home was dedicated on August 17, 2019.
